 Bert McComas is a 20 year veteran of the semiconductor industry as a marketing executive and independent technology analyst. McComas is well known for his work at InQuest, covering computing platform technologies, DRAM, chip sets, processors, I/O technologies, etc. He also served as CTO at In-Stat, and Director of Display Electronics at DisplaySearch focused on semiconductor solutions for HDTV and other consumer FPD applications. McComas spent the first decade of his career in high level marketing positions with leading IC manufacturers such as VLSI Technology, LSI Logic, Mosel-Vitelic, Siliconix and Faraday/WD, focused on new product definition, strategic marketing, business development and market expansion in Japan and Asia. He is proficient in Japanese.
