Chris Chinnock
President, Insight Media 

As President of Insight Media, Chris provides strategic direction for the company, acts as the Sr. Editor for the Microdisplay Report and Projection Monthly, and contributes to Insight Media’s technology and market reports. He also handles consulting assignments. Chris has a strong technical background in displays, sensors and optical systems and a superior ability to write about complex technical topics. His background is rounded out with a comprehensive understanding of business and market factors that surround the commercialization of technology and products. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Colorado and has completed additional graduate work in the field of optics and electro-optics. For 15 years, he worked in a variety of engineering, management and business development positions at companies such as MIT Lincoln Labs, Honeywell Electro-Optics, GE AstroSpace and Barnes Engineering. For 5 years after that, he was a freelance technology journalist and technology consultant. In 1998, Mr. Chinnock founded Insight Media.
